My job isn’t that scary, working with Radiation has some pretty good safety standards, and everything is wired so it turns off if you do something stupid. Radiation workers actually are less likely to get cancer than the normal population.
I do have to work with hexafluoric acid sometimes, rarely, and that scares me. Its pretty nasty stuff, it eats the calcium in your bones but kills the nerves so you can’t feel it till its too late.

The scariest thing about my job is what could happen if I don’t do my job properly!
If I don’t design something correctly or check everything – the thing I’ve designed could damage an expensive piece of equipment or worse, hurt someone! I worry about it a lot even though I’ve got so many people checking my work haha.

Totally agree with Leah! the scariest thing is that people will be working with what i have delivered. If we are not careful and try to design out the dangers, someone could be hurt!

I work with very heavy machinery that will not stop because a person has got in the way. It is very important to pay attention to your surroundings and think before you do something.

People! Haha… just kidding….well only kidding a bit! Sometimes people can get very passionate about the problems they are experiencing with software or want something complex building in too short a timescale. I don’t like to disappoint people so managing customer expectations has been important for me to learn.
