I think I was probably 15 or 16 when I fully realised I wanted to do engineering.

I remember wanting to do electronics in primary school, I had a little logic gate kit, I was always taking things apart, and I went to building sites with my uncle. But most people don’t know till much later. My degree was half-physics half-electronics as I wasn’t entirely sure at 18.

21 haha, I decided in the last year of my degree that becoming an engineer would be the best way to get involved with nuclear fusion 🙂 although I’ve always enjoyed taking things apart (and not being able to put them back together 😀 )

i decided after i passed my high school exams and before i chose my university degree!

I applied for a few different types of courses, and decided that engineering was the most interesting of my choices.

      Never looked back!

I decided just a couple of weeks before my UCAS application form was due in during my A levels! I’d been mulling it over quietly for a few months but finally made the decision after talking to a neighbour’s son who was a programmer and he loved his job so much I just had to try it out! (I wasn’t disappointed!)
