      Nope. Not a chance.We should probably get Fusion working on earth first before we start to harvest stars. They might invest in some of the basic R&D required but its very far off.

      No. Too theoretical and I think there are other things they should spend money on first.

      Nooooo, to invest, the government needs ideas backed by solid research and, unfortunately, Dyson sphere are still too theoretical.
      Also, we’d either have to put one around our sun (and freeze to death as it blocks out all the light/heat) or around the 2nd closest star, Alpha Centauri (actually 3 stars which are really close together), which is about 4 light-years away. That means it would take 4 years to reach them if you were travelling at the speed of light!
