Most people who work in computers go to college rather than University. There are lots of courses you can do, but HND in computer science or computer studies might be good. Why not study computer science at University?

Sometimes there are lots of different names for courses that are basically the same thing. If you want to focus on making things then make sure any computer science course allows this and it isn’t predominantly theoretical. I’d personally go for something quite general that means your skills can be more easily transferable to any area of IT e.g. in my opinion sometimes people too quickly choose a computer gaming course when actually there are even more jobs that aren’t gaming and something more general like computing would give them a better breadth of skills so they can apply for those jobs too.

ooh im not super good with computer science, but i would advise you look at some computer science courses and make sure it is actually what you want to do.

Lots of courses can go by the same name but have different content. they will show the main topics covered and you might find that you are more interested in the software development than computer science.
